Interestingly, the Honor Gamepad can be attached to any smartphone and will draw power the from smartphone's USB Type-C port when it runs out of battery. Sadly, this means that phones with good old microUSB port don't help when the accessory runs of juice. The Honor Gamepad packs 4 D-pad buttons, a joystick, shoulder button, and one extra button. Given the rise of smartphone gaming in recent times, it's no surprise Honor wants to bank on it. Unfortunately, though, the pricing and availability details aren't revealed yet, but we should learn more information soon.
